31st August 2007: Updates of the PEAP Revision Process 2007/2008

• The DEA and member of the PEAP secretariat held two meetings on the PEAP related issues. One of the meetings focused on the PEAP Evaluation process and another meeting focused on the key issues for the Top Management discussion
• A follow-up meeting was held that gave feedback to the group about the need for a retreat with the Top Management to discuss issues related to the strategic focus of the next development plan
• The PEAP secretariat was tasked to develop a conceptual paper on the PEAP revision process to be discussed in a Top Management retreat which will be held during the week of 3rd September 2007.
• The PEAP secretariat also held meeting on the development of the PEAP Consultation Process Note and agreed on finalizing it
• The Friday full committee meeting focused on the feedback from the Top Management
• Members underscored the fact that we are left with a very short time to prepare the national plan and hence the need to move as fast as possible in concretizing all the preparatory processes

• Finalization of the Top Management Concept Note
• Hold the Top Management retreat and planning out it logistics
• Follow up on all the outstanding and urgent decisions around the PEAP revision process
• Resource mobilization of all activities for the PEAP revision process that are unfunded
• Hold the secretariat Tuesday meetings and Full Committee meeting
