The overall objective of the Resource Centre (RC) is to streamline the flow of information within the Ministry and with her stakeholders in order to bridge communication gaps, enhance cooperation and foster understanding.

The specific objectives are to:

1. Coordinate, improve and consolidate the Ministry's communication function



2. Provide modern, adequate and efficient Library services



3. Manage and improve the effectiveness of the Ministry's Public Relations function



4. Provide management and support services for the Information Sharing Network (ISN) system and ICT in the Ministry.
5. Provide efficient management of records.

THE ACCOUNTANT GENERAL'S OFFICE LIBRARY

The Accountant General's Office Library is a source of reference information for accounting staff and auditors.

The Library has print and non-print materials on public finance, taxation, business law, accounting, auditing, public sector accounting and management, economics, and related journals.

The library stock is supplemented by IFAC guidance best practices and other materials downloaded from the Internet on users' request. The Library is housed in the Treasury building, Room G-26.

The library is open to Ministry Staff and government officials. Borrowing preference is to those with accounting and financial responsibilities.

Time of Operation: The library is open from Monday - Friday, 8.00a.m - 5.00p.m.
