Minister of State for General Duties Hon. Henery Musasizi led a team from URA to appear before Parliament Committee on Finance to present the Budget Framework Paper for FY 2024/25.

The projected URA resource envelope for FY2024/25 is UGX 619.99bn as per the MTEF projections.

Hon. Henry Musasizi said URA this FY 2023/24 is expected to collect UGX 29.672 trillion compared to UGX 25.15 trillion for FY 2022/23. He added that URA collected UGX 13.136 trillion in the first six months of FY 2023/24 (July to December 2023). Also present was Minister of State for Planning Hon. Amos Lugoloobi and Minister of State for Microfinance Hon Kyeyune Kasolo.
